Your privacy matters. This policy explains exactly what Calendar Alarms collects, what it doesn't, and how your data is handled — in plain language.
Effective date: 1 June 2026Calendar Alarms is developed and published by BeasNet, an iOS app development studio. This Privacy Policy describes how the Calendar Alarms app ("the App") handles information when you use it on your iPhone.
The short version: the App reads your Apple Calendar to decide when to fire an alarm. That data never leaves your device, and we collect nothing about you.
We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any of the following:
The App does not request access to any of these. It only requests Calendar access and notification permission, both of which are used exclusively on-device.
Calendar Alarms requests Full Calendar Access through Apple's EventKit framework. This permission allows the App to read event titles in your Apple Calendar so it can determine which days match the keyword you've configured for each alarm.
This data is processed entirely on your device. It is never uploaded, shared with third parties, or stored outside of the App's local operation. You can revoke calendar access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars → Calendar Alarms. If access is revoked, the App will no longer be able to check your calendar and alarms will not fire.
The App uses Apple's UNUserNotificationCenter to schedule local notifications on your device. These are standard iOS notifications — they are generated and delivered locally by your iPhone and do not pass through any BeasNet server.
You can manage notification permissions at any time in Settings → Notifications → Calendar Alarms.
The App uses BGAppRefreshTask to run a nightly calendar scan in the background. This process reads your on-device calendar and reschedules local notifications for the coming 60 days. No data is transmitted externally during this process. Background refresh runs only when your device grants it runtime, entirely offline.
Calendar Alarms does not integrate any third-party SDKs, advertising networks, analytics libraries, or tracking tools. The App relies solely on Apple's first-party frameworks (EventKit, UserNotifications, AVFoundation, BackgroundTasks) and contains no third-party code that could collect or transmit your data.
The App stores your alarm configurations (alarm times and associated keywords) locally on your device using standard iOS storage. This data is:
Calendar Alarms does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because the App collects no personal data whatsoever, it presents no specific risks relating to children's privacy. It is suitable for users of all ages.
If we update this Privacy Policy, the revised version will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Because the App collects no personal data, any future changes are expected to reflect new app features rather than data-handling practices. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
Continued use of the App after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
